Department of Paediatrics

The Department of Paediatrics of Naogaon Medical College is a vital clinical department of the institution and plays an important role in undergraduate medical education and child healthcare. Since the establishment of the college, the department has been actively involved in teaching, clinical service, and training of future medical graduates in the field of child health.

The department is responsible for teaching Paediatrics to MBBS students during their clinical years. Teaching focuses on the growth and development of children, prevention and management of common childhood illnesses, neonatal care, and pediatric emergencies, with emphasis on early diagnosis, holistic care, and evidence-based medical practice.

The Department of Paediatrics is staffed with qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty members, supported by medical officers, residents, nursing staff, and trained technical personnel.
